Distributed and Intelligent Databases

Dmitrij Frishman and Patrick Argos, Co-Chairs

1. Track topics

The principle focus of the PSB-98 database session will be on computer and algorithmic methods that result in more intelligent and accessible molecular biological databases. Researchers working in this area are encouraged to submit manuscripts. Major topics include: Since the field is broad, a preference will be given to topics bearing on molecular sequence, structure and function; however, novel contributions commensurate with the aforementioned topics will be seriously considered.

Proposals for tutorials and software tool demonstration are welcome.
